Manchester United are most likely to concede the most goals in a single month of playing in the English Premier League.

         The Red Devils have conceded 10 goals in the Premier League in October. Starting from a 1-1 draw with Everton, followed by a 2-4 defeat by Leicester City. and the latest being a 0-5 defeat by Liverpool, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces heavy pressure.

         In the past, only two times United have conceded more than 10 goals in a single month. The first time was in October 1996 11 goals conceded and December 2018 12 goals conceded.

         The 20-time champions travel to Spurs in the Premier League on Saturday. If a team concedes more than 2 goals, it becomes the most goals conceded in a single month in the Premier League. And may send Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be fired as well if the team loses a goal like that and ends up in defeat.

There were hints in the first half. That Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof’s lack of pace in the centre of defence would be exposed and that happened in the early stages of the second.

But it was goalkeeper David de Gea who must take his share of the blame for the failure to win this one – appearing too timid in allowing two of Everton’s three goals.

He palmed Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s cross into the path of Abdoulaye Doucoure for the first goal and then hesitated to throw himself at the striker’s feet for that last-gasp equaliser. Everton had three shots on target on the night and every single one of them beat De Gea.
