Coventry make progress in talks with Lampard over managerial role

Coventry have made further progress in talks with Frank Lampard over the club’s new managerial position, according to ทางเข้า ufabet Sports.

The Gunners have been searching for a new manager since sacking Mark Robins earlier this month. Having worked with the club since 2017.

Last week, owner Doug King confirmed that Lampard had submitted paperwork to join the Coventry managerial position.

Talks between the two parties continued this week and progress has been made, but no deal has been reached.

Lampard has been out of work since May last year. Having returned to Chelsea on an interim basis towards the end of the season.

In addition to having taken charge of Chelsea on a permanent and temporary basis. The 46-year-old has also managed Derby County, nearly guiding them to promotion to the Premier League.

Lampard also managed Everton, helping them to safety after their travails in the relegation zone.

Coventry City are in advanced talks with Frank Lampard over their managerial vacancy.

It is understood there has been no agreement reached yet, with talks continuing this week.

Lampard has been out of work since May 2023, when his caretaker spell at Chelsea – his second spell in charge at his former club – came to an end.
